this started with a tattoo i couldn’t figure out how to get.
a note from the founders
i moved to los angeles for school, and the first thing i wanted was a tattoo from someone whose work i’d actually stare at. so i sat in my dorm at like 1am going through instagram hashtags and tiktok, trying to work out who was even in la, what they charged, if they were open. the artists were all there. the way to find them wasn’t.
it’s the same problem from the other chair. you can be incredible at this and still be invisible unless a video happens to go viral, and that shouldn’t be the plan. my co-founder jackson (yes, we’re both jackson) and i decided we were just going to build it.
we’re starting in socal and we’ll take it everywhere. and if you tattoo for a living, i want you to know we built this so people can find you and book you without you having to become a content creator first. your work should be enough. here it is.
